gosh, totally gorgeous these pictures are. the colours so clear and bright, the silver on the green, dotted with the red, stunning! you are a fabulous photographer anni, and your subject, what can i say, but regal and proud...
ReplyDeleteGreat shots, Anni, I'm glad I clicked over!
ReplyDeleteWe are in another arctic outbreak here, but it's good that 80 degrees can be found somewhere on the continent!
Blessings!
I'm so happy I clicked here, because Herons are one of my favorite birds to watch. we have one that summers here around the local mill pond and I found out last year that he's been named Henry. I've managed to get a few shots of him standing stoically in the water, but nothing compared to what you've captured here. great job!
ReplyDeleteThese are so beautiful I am glad that I came over to take a look.
ReplyDeleteMiss Becky I wish I could get up close and personal to the nest itself and photograph the eggs once laid.
ReplyDeleteShadow, Dimple and Sharon...thanks for your compliments.
Awesome photos!
ReplyDeleteMama Bear

ReplyDeleteNice shots!
ReplyDeleteThey always end up flying away for me. You got some great captures.

Anni, you're becoming quite the photographer, those shots are amazing! That's not little twigs they're carrying, wow! Now the next thing you have to do is get pictures of the egg/s when the time comes! hehe xoxo
